A Short Company History
We are a knife manufacturer focussing on top quality knives for hunters, fishermen, sailors and other outdoors enthusiasts. We also supply a range of top quality professional knives.

Dewey Knives Pty Limited began life in 1982 as a knife importing company. In 1986 the German company GUSTAV EMIL ERN got into financial difficulties and Rob Dewey went to Germany and purchased some of the equipment, stock and the right to manufacture in the southern hemisphere.
We manufacture a full range of sporting knives under the DEWEY
brand. These are all top quality and 100% Australian Designed and Manufactured.
We also part manfacture a range of knives for cookery, butchery, leather and electrical work under the GUSTAV EMIL ERN brand name.
It doesn't stop there, we also do a lot of training in the area of knife sharpening.
